A small but challenging project, the clients at Marc Brown put forth the need to divide their existing store to create a quaint corner cafe and part retail bakery to serve as the brand franchise location. Their requirements were clear: they wanted the space to run like a coffee shop, but also have the essence of a supermarket where you pick up what the customer wants. The design was heavily driven by spatial planning and furniture design to optimize the most of each function without interrupting the flow of activity.
