Ethico is a conscious lifestyle brand curating a collection of household items that are completely plastic free and environmentally sensitive. The design for their first store in Goa also carried the same brief- to keep things simple, work wisely with materials, and create a space that can foster the creation of a community within the walls.
With this in mind, the idea of creating flexibility drove the design forward. Custom furniture was designed to suit the layout that could move around to accommodate a small gathering of people, serve as a display unit for the retail section, all while creating pockets of community seating and a space for the cafe to function.
